Dr Leena Plavumkal is originally from India. She received her veterinary doctorate degree from India in 1995 and later became a licensed veterinarian in the United States. She has worked in Tampa Florida, Baltimore Maryland and Charleston West Virginia before moving back to Ft. Myers, which is her hometown, to be with her family. With her husband Thomas, she is raising their daughters Irene, Sharlene and Ashlene.
