Gina, a receptionist for 19 years with Brandywine talks with pet owner's about hospital policies, appointments, pet care services, and product sales and information, just to mention a few of her many duties. Gina's hobbies include watching cooking shows, shopping on QVC, planting flowers and watching thr birds in her bird feeder. She also loves vacationing in Florida and reading and studying people on the beach. She has 14 cats at the moment and a dog named Toby who looks exactly like ToTo from the Wizard of Oz. Her daily philosophy is "a wish is never a waste of time".

Welcome to The Brandywine Hospital for Pets website of information and communication. Brandywine was established in June 1982 by Dr. LouAnne Taylor. Brandywine Hospital for Pets prides itself in providing the highest quality in veterinary care in a friendly, relaxed setting. Our motto is "quality care with personal attention". Brandywine Hospital for Pets is the only AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) accredited hospital in Muskingum County.

   DIAGNOSTIC AND THERAPEUTIC SERVICES: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

SURGICAL SERVICES: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Click Surgery for a view of our prep room and surgery suite.

ANESTHESIA: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

RADIOLOGY SERVICES: Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders. Click on Radiology for a visit to our x-ray room.

ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHY SERVICES: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

LABORATORY: Our laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

PHARMACY: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea treatment and preventions, as well as heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. Please visit the Pet Library of Information for more detailed information on these products and their uses.

DENTAL CARE: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and oral surgery.

INDIVIDUALIZED FLEA CONTROL PROGRAMS: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. DIETARY COUNSELING: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. We offer Hill's, Royal Canin, some Purina and other prescription diets, both in canned and dry forms. Please call our nutritional experts to find the right diet for your pet.

BEHAVIORAL COUNSELING: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression. Also see our Pet Library of Information.
