Born and raised in Punjab, India, Dr. Jaspal Harika always wanted to work with pets. So he worked hard and in 1996 received a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine form Punjab Agricultural University (P.A.U). Dr. Harika also has a Masters Degree in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology. Like his colleague (Dr. Mann) he dreamed of living in the United States. Soon his dream came true and moved to the Untied States of America. Shortly after this he attended a 1 year internship at Iowa State Universitys Science & Technology, and also an externship of Special Species (avian, Exotics, Reptiles) at University of Wisconsins Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Dr. Harikas has written many research papers that are published in India and also in the International Veterinary Journal. He strongly believes in quality medicine and treating pets like family. Like most veterinarians Dr. Harika has a family dog named "Tiger". In his free time Dr. Harika likes to read about veterinary science and listen to music.
