About Arizona's Piggie Poo Rescue, Inc. APPR was founded in 2006, and has placed over 180 homeless guinea pigs to date.
APPR is an Alternative Placement Rescue for the Arizona Humane Society (Phoenix, AZ), Southern Arizona Humane Society(Tucson, AZ), Wee Companion (San Diego CA), and The Bunny Bunch (Chino CA).
APPR’s adoption mission is supported in part by Petco, through their Affliates Program, referrals, “Going Home” carriers and coupon books.
APPR is a member and partner of PACC911, the Phoenix Animal Care Coalition.
APPR is an Arizona Non-Profit Corporation and is funded solely by donations and contributions by our managing partners.

Piggie Poo is not a public shelter. Adoptions are by appointment only.

APPR is the only Non-Profit Rescue in Arizona dedicate specifically to Guinea Pigs.
Unlike most rescue groups, Piggie Poo rarely in-takes public surrenders. Instead, we chose to support municipal shelters and private rescue organization and help relieve critical capacity within these organizations throughout the Southwest.
