About Me

My name is James Patschke. My mother, Sandy, wife, Susie and myself own and operate Sandy's Kennels. We have been breeding and raising dogs for about 20 years now. We have two locations, one in Thorndale, TX and the other in Red Rock, TX. My mom is a home health nurse, I own my own air conditioning busness and my wife works for WalMart, besides operating our kennels. My mom has been blessed with 4 children, 10 grandchildren, (2 of which are mine) and 3 great grandchildren (2 of which are my grandchildren). We enjoy fishing, dancing, hunting, and camping. We also attend several dog shows a year for our diffrent breeds. As you might guess we do have a very tight schudule due to our very active lives. My employees help out alot with the kennels just for the love of the dogs. Dogs are truly man and womans best friends. They have us very well trained. lol!!

Interests

We enjoy raising these great dogs. We have 7 different breeds that we breed & raise. They are all AKC, CKC, ADBA or NBK registered and many are double registered. We breed and raise these dog for the love of the breeds and want to share the joy these breeds bring to our lives with other people.

Books

My favorite book would have to be the American Dog Breeder Association's Gazzett. Mom's favorite would be "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee". Susie has not given us her input to this question yet, so we will have to update when she does.

Movies

"Homeward Bound" and "Men in Black Two" are my favorites. Mom's favorite movie would be "An Office and a Gentleman", no doubt. Susie still has to give us some input here, so we will update later.

Music

We are a very musical family and love all kinds of music. My mom, is a country girl, so at the top of her list would be Classical Country, Rock & Roll Oldies and Gospel. Of course, since I am younger I like the newer rock, the newer country, as well as gospel, old Rock & Roll and older country. Susie better start getting some updates going! LOL
