About Me

At Wyndeway Shetland Sheepdogs we breed dogs to the sheltie standard as stipulated according to the ASSA (American Shetland Sheepdog Association) standard. As Breeders of Shetland Sheepdogs we are extremely dedicated to producing quality dogs that excel in temperament, soundness, structure, and type. Even though all of these qualities are of the utmost importance to us, we put extreme emphasis on temperament. Any dog that does not have a stable, lovable, and easy to live with temperament will not be incorporated into our breeding program! We are a small breeder of Shetland sheepdogs. We have shelties for conformation, obedience, agility, rally, herding as well as just plain family companions. Puppies and stud service are available upon request. All shelties here are OFA hips good or excellent, VetGen VWD clear, normal CERF, OFA thyroid normal, and PAT'd. I am presently a registered CGC tester and am writing a book about "How to Train Your Sheltie Puppy from 10 Weeks On?"

Interests

Going for long walks with the furkids. Showing shelties in conformation, herding, agility, rally, and obedience events. Writing sheltie training books. CGC testing at AKC registered events.
