We currently have 2 ferrets and at one time owned six.  They are wonderful critters but are subject to a host of various diseases.  After these 2 have passed we will not own anymore.  Their little lives are way to short and it's very difficult on us emotionally when we lose one.  No more animals that uses litter boxes!
