Doggies Pet Grooming killed my cat!! Took him in to be shaved and flea dipped July 1st, 2008. The next day he died. The Emergency Center that I took him to said that the flea dip had gotten into his lungs. In the long run It cost me $600.00 for them to find out what had happened to him. And there was still nothing that they could do for him. He suffered horribly. Having only 5% oxygen. My 12 year old daughter and myself had to put him down. A completely healthy cat. I feel like I have lost a child. Please think twice before sending your animal here!!

Your Reply:

i flee bathed this cat, I DO NOT USE DIPS only safe flea shampoo! the cat was infested with fleas which is not good for any animal especially a 16 year old cat! i do not pour water over there heads because cats do not like water on there heads. i put flea soap on a towel and wiped there faces and wiped the soap off with a moist towel. i love cats and dogs and would not ever to do anything to harm one. i'm sorry for your loss of your pet, but i followed standard procedure on this animal!

I have used Doggies Pet Grooming for several years, and know the owner very well.  She would never do anything to hurt an animal.  She has the biggest heart and most patience with problem animals of any other groomer I know.  She stopped using flea dip many years ago, as it can be toxic to animals.  She only uses flea shampoo, that is healthy for the animal and always puts drops in dogs eyes to protect them from soap irritation.  I'm sorry about your cat, but I am sure that Ann had nothing to do with it's death!!!
