are collies any good at agility because i discovered sheba she's one of my collies sheba's great at agility but theres a trial in 3 months buts the only thing she can do right now is the tunnel and jumps and is it hard to teach a dog to do the tire jump?   Undecided

If you dog can already do jumps, then the tire jump shouldn't be too much different, especially if your dog already knows the command for jump. Does your dog do the other obstacles as well? If so, and the tire jump is all you have left to learn, then 3 months should be plenty of time to get ready for a trial.

thanks she can do it. we will miss the trial this time but when the junior agility comes back to town we'll be in it! right now all she has to learn is weave poles,a-frame,dog walk, and that teter-toter thing......
