Is there a list of rules anywhere?  If not someone should complie one with everything on it like

when does the stud owner get paid?

who goes to who?

also the stuff about inline breeding, whats that about?  I know the best breeders do it to produce the qualities they are looking for but how do people just getting started know what is right or wrong.

I know someone will have an idea how we can get this list together somewhere

thanks

Females travel to males.

Stud fees are paid at time of service

In line breeding is largely a matter of opinion,  You can increase the desired as well as the undesired traits in a particular bloodline.  The controversy is largespread and a matter of many heated debates.  Many times when breeding any two dogs you get "the good the bad and the ugly" in one breeding.  Many health issues will jide and adding new blood is statistically better at diminishing hidden traits.

Hope this helps.  I have been breeding for 25 years and am not in favor of line breeding, but that is just my opinion.

The female should always travel to the male's home. The male will feel more confident this way, in his own territory. Also, females will naturally move away from their home in search of a mate (if allowed to do so)

If you are just getting started, you should stay away from linebreeding. It's not for beginners. Do some research on the subject and take note that line breeding is NOT the same as INBREEDING. It is a matter of personal opinion as to whether one line breeds or not. I, personally, am all for linebreeding, if done correctly, and totally against inbreeding.
