my 9 year old best friend utoh died yesterday as a result of carbamate toxicity. I had never heard of it before , I was told that he made himself get to the point of nervousness that it built up toxins in his system resulting in svere bbleeding in the stool and  nasty coat. I just miss him terribly and wonder if I will ever stop crying. All day long I have put food in his bowl and waited for him to greet me at the door. I feel lost. Will this pain ease?

my puppy died today and I don't understand it. he was only 9  weeks old and  we've only had him about 2 weeks, but my family and I adored him. He got sick and started throwing up- I had started feeding him cesar's lamb dog food ,which he digested fine,we thought cesar's puppy food would be better for him so I switched to it.The first feeding he was okay after the second he went down hill- vomiting, uncontrolled urine leakage, sleepiness, etc,.This was a friday-on saturday he seemed to improve(i watched him sleep all night} I was sitting on the floor watching him walk around-he came over and sat on my lap and fell asleep-I put him in his bed so he could get better rest and we found him passed away in his bed within the half hour. He died in his sleep. I can sympathize with how hard your lose is. I cannot understand and am  confused about what happened  just like you are. whoever discovered  carbamate toxicity ?  Although I'm confused  about the dog food ,even though cesar's isn't on the recall list.(i searched the list before feeding)   My dog was a yorkshire terrier ,whom I bought from an Amish Breeder. I already have an 11 year old yorkie whoI nursed through many an ailment .including kidney failure(to my vet'ts surprise-he expected it would die)  So I have some knowledge in ailing pets. My family and I are devested like you are-he was perfect-good price-500.$- weight-1pound-perfect and smart pet.I am going to find out what I can about carbanate toxicity for you---Idon'tknow any way for finding an answer for my problem. tonight my family is still crying and sad. We all hope our puppy is somewhere wonderful-i hope the same for yours!

Do you live in WI. ? Amish puppy mills! I am sorry for your loss, it doesn't matter that you only had your puppy a short time, it still hurts. If your Yorkie at 9 wks only weighted 1 lb he may have been the runt of the litter. And in small breeds Liver Shunts run high. And this is sad especially for the runt. I also lost a yorkie puppy resently and it was from this. At 13wks he still only weighted 1lb 4oz he was special and so was yours. Here for only a short time but touched by so many hearts. We are all still saddend but blessed to have shared in the time we shared together. And through his loss I've learned all I can on this. I hope you or your family don't blame yourselves, just as myself we have no controll, when they are that young. Take care! I hope the breeder is taking care of your loss. There's no such thing as a good deal when it comes to life and health.
