Hi, I have a mini that I got from sometbody else and he was very abused. He will not come up to anybody at all or if you do catch him you can't touch his feet. I would really like to know what to do . I have tried all the treat methods. Thank you Wendy

i dont have a mini myself i have an average size horse that was the same way.. it took me over a year to get him just to trust me.. so i guess the thing is just go in to his/ her pen and just walk around in there without acknowledging him/ her. just do it daily for about ten to twenty minutes or more. then hopefully with time she will start to follow you around or start to get curious then give her a treat when he/she comes up to you. thats my advice..
