About Taddy's Pet Sitting<

Business Name My business is named after my Westie, Tad. His nick name was Taddy. When Tad was two he was diagnosed as a hemophiliac and was told by the veterinarian that he wouldn’t live past four or five, if I was lucky. At this point, I changed Tad’s food, toys and, most importantly, how he was cared for by me and others. He was treated with the utmost care and caution. As a result, Tad didn’t have his first transfusion until he was nine, by which time the technology had improved greatly. Tad brought much joy to our family and we miss him greatly. He lived a remarkably long and happy life, passing at age 12. Experience My first pet sitting job was in college over 20 years ago. For a week of taking care of 6 Pomeranians, 2 cats, 1 lizard and 1 hamster, I received a bottle of wine. But, the owners were very pleased with my work and it was a great experience. Since that first job, I have provided pet services to owners who are not only away from home on vacation but also away from home because of a long day at work. I pride myself in giving each pet special attention according to their breed, character and age.
