Detailed Listing Information
WIREHAIRED VIZSLA~ 2 beautiful boys left...
I love long walks with my new family, new toys from the store when you go, raw meaty bones to chew on (among other chewies). Hunting isnt a must but it would be nice if you want to. My brother and I are looking for a forever home. We really like to play outside (fetch~keep away~and just a good run not to mention we love a baby pool if we cant have the real thing) (pond, lake, muddy marsh). Kids are wonderful but not abosolutly necesary...I am prepared to be the baby of the house and take all the love and snuggle on all the laps. I am an outside dog when I am outside and can play as long as you want to. Bring me in the house and I will be the perfect gentleman...lay down take a nap with my head on your lap or maybe chew on my bone. I am a year long dog and need my family time every day even if it is just to lay on the couch with you and watch a movie. We both get along with other dogs with no problem.
Note from mom...2 terrific pups that are real gems! Pointer/retrievers or just wonderful companions. Microchipped and hip gaunteed til 2 1/2 yrs old. Call me with questions or if you are interested. I can email pics of Rutger and or gunner. They are just the sweetest. Vary rare breed...I am only parting with them because of health issues and they need more lovin time. (Will take donation for Vizsla rescue. But not necesary.) They are a breed that you dont just toss out and the back yard and visit once in awhile. The really belong in the house so that they know where you are. Some of my families will even take there baby to work and they will sleep the day away beside the desk or under it. I have never had a pup have anxiety over being left for awhile tho. You will be impressed...I gauntee it!! 970-674-0622 or cell 970 396-2714. My email is bnelli.gundogs@gmail.com

The Vizsla, as described in the AKC standard, is a medium-sized short-coated hunting dog of distinguished appearance and bearing. Robust but rather lightly built; the coat is an attractive golden rust color. Small areas of white on the forechest and on the toes are permissible, but not wanted in the show ring. The tail is normally docked to two-thirds of the original length.
The breed comes in either of two coat types: smooth or wire-haired.(The vizslas with wire-hair are called wire-haired vizsals.) The FCI, CKC, UKC, and the KC(UK) consider the smooth-haired and wire-haired as separate breeds. Male Vizslas typically weigh between 45 and 50 lb and are 22 to 24 in. tall at the withers(shoulders), females 40 to 50 lb and are 21 to 23 in. at the withers.
