Detailed Listing Information
We have beautiful AKC miniature schnauzer's that will be ready to go to a good home on or about May 1st, 2009. The father of my female has just been awarde UKC Champion status. He is the number one miniature schnauzer for 2008 and will be attending the UKC dog show in June to go for best in show.
My puppies have already had their dew claws removed and tails cropped. Before they go to their new home they will also have first shots. If you are looking for a good pet or a puppy that can grow up to be a champion you will be happy with one of these.
You can view pictures of both the mom and dad along with the puppies at my website: www.jenkinsphotography.smugmug.com
We have two males and three females available. If you are interested you can contact me at 616 893-1473 (Jon) or email me at buckeyeboy94@aol.com.
Limited Registration male or female = $600.00
Open Registration male or female = $1000.00
Miniature Schnauzers are quite distinctive in appearance. They should be compact, muscular, and be "square" in build (the height at the withers should be the same as the length of the body). They have long beards, eye-brows, and feathering on the legs. Ears are sometimes cropped to stand upright, and the tail is often docked short. Their coats are wiry, and do not shed, which adds to their appeal as house pets. Miniature Schnauzers are highly recommended for dog owners who suffer from asthma. However, their coats have to be clipped every three months as they do not shed. The AKC recognizes only three colors: black, salt and pepper, and black and silver.
