After 8 years our beloved, Sheila, an Australian Shepherd passed away. Even though she was battling cancer for the second time, she died of a heart attack. It was sudden and unexpected and the whole family is mourning her. I never thought I would miss a dog so much. I've always said, "I'm a cat person". I miss her sweet, trusting and loving look she would give me whenever I spoke to her. I miss her "crabwalk" she would do to me when I came in the door. She could never decide if she wanted her head or butt petted so she presented both to the best of her ability. She was so smart and so gentle. God, I miss her.
